Ideate.

Overview

A desktop-first idea studio with a custom spatial board for capturing and arranging ideas. An iOS companion (Ideate — Capture) dumps thoughts in from the phone, and everything syncs over Supabase.

What's inside

• Desktop-first studio built with Tauri and React
• Custom spatial board for laying out and connecting ideas
• iOS capture companion (Ideate — Capture) for catching thoughts on the go
• Supabase sync between desktop and phone

Challenges

Designing a spatial board that feels native on desktop while staying in sync with a lightweight iOS capture app meant treating the board as the source of truth and the phone as an inbox.

What I took away

Learned how far a Tauri + React desktop shell can go for a spatial UI, and how to keep a capture companion small when the real product lives on the board.
